October 2010 saw the opening of our newest Berghaus store at Broadmead, Bristol. The city centre based store is our fourth UK store and our first in the South West of England.

Berghaus Covent Garden Store

Opened in autumn 2008 by mountaineers Sir Chris Bonington and Leo Houlding, who abseiled down the front of the building, Covent Garden is our second UK flagship store. Located in the historic Seven Dials area the store spans over three floors and is the largest of all our stores, stocking all the latest outdoor gear and equipment.

Berghaus MetroCentre Store

Berghaus opened the doors of our first flagship store on 1^st Septemeber 2007, in the Gateshead MetroCentre, Europe’s largest shopping and leisure centre. The store was the first in the UK to stock the full range of Berghaus performance outdoor clothing, footwear, rucksacks and accessories.

It was officially opened by Sir Chris Bonington and Leo Houlding who abseiled from the 1st floor of the Red Mall.
