Incinerator Duvet – Climb

The new Incinerator Jacket from Berghaus is just slightly less than its name implies. Although it is very warm  I didn’t catch fire! It combines the benefits of down and synthetic insulation in one jacket, the warmth of down and the weather resistance of synthetics.  The outer is weather resistant Pertex Endurance.  The down fill is a 90/10 grey goose down inner with Primaloft Sport (60grm) synthetic insulation over the top.  It has a fixed helmet compatible hood, two zipped hand warmer pockets, and two internal pockets.  If you plan to stand about quite a bit in cold, wild conditions this could be the one, it is a little heavy and bulky compared to a down only jacket.  Great high camp gear.
