Men's Athunder Gore-tex Waterproof Jacket - Grey

The jacket appears to be good quality and looks great. However, the fit (I'm normally a size S, ordered M), as with some other Berghaus items, is way off. The sleeves have plenty of room for layers, as does the bottom half, but the cut under the armpits and shoulder is just too tight. You'd basically need a size larger, which would make every other part of the jacket too big. It's a shame that Berghaus messed up the sizes once again and given that I'm a normal-thin build, I'm not sure who is supposed to fit comfortably into these jackets, particularly as the jacket is just a shell and you will definitely need layers in colder weather. Shame, as otherwise the jacket seems quite solid.

The usual good quality. Well made.. Hood a bit cumbersome. Would be better if it folded away .

Great outdoor jacket. No coat hook only flaw.

The peaked hood. Totally rain and wind proof. And pretty stylish too. No hook to hang up. Maybe the neck comes up a little too high. For the price with 30% it’s good but not sure if worth full price. I have another coat that does the same thing at half the price really. Paying for the brand I guess!

Excellent quality. Hood/funnel necked area is great. A bit tight around the midriff area, I’m 48 and got a touch of the middle age spread, could do with loosening up a bit

It’s a functional garment and it definitely works - the jacket keeps you totally dry in hours of wet winter weather. I picked a grey / black colour - it’s not the hottest fashion trend - I think next time I would select a brighter colour way

Good fit Waterproof and breathabletop top quality that’s why I buy this brand.
