Excellent jacket at a competitive price point
The jacket overall is excellent and as a discerning (some might say fussy) consumer I am very happy with this product and its price-to-performance ratio. The materials, build quality and fit (which is the most important things for me) are relatively faultless. The only potential negative (if you want to call it that) is that in real life the jacket is a fairly dark gunmetal grey and the sidepanels are a very similar colour (not the contrasting black as I was expecting from the photos). But it’s not a big deal to me as the jacket still looks good (especially the cut). The only other very minor criticism is that the pocket zips could be a bit chunkier, but I understand that this is a relatively standard feature for technical ultra-light shells. As touched on previously I love the fit (I got a medium and im a 6ft athletic male and weigh around 11st) and this is perfectly sized as a performance outer layer - it strikes that fine line between being roomy enough to comfortably accommodate relatively thick insulation layers underneath while still being relatively fitted. All in all I can wholeheartedly recommend this jacket 👍
