A big mistake
I was replacing my  18 year old  freeflow which is still, despite much use, in perfect working order. The annoying thing is when hiking there is nowhere to put my phone for easy access so I can take a quick photo. Consequently I end up putting my phone in my shorts pocket and the shorts being weighed down by it making for uncomfortable walking. So I was delighted when I saw this new rucksack had pockets in the straps for a phone - IDEAL - PERFECT - BUT. When the rucksack arrived it was beautifully made and designed, fabulous construction. HOWEVER.  I cannot get my iPhone in the front pocket. Okay if I take the phone out of its protective case it will just fit but then I put the phone at risk. What a huge mistake in design and my purchase, I might as well have stayed with my old rucksack. Other than that a great rucksack

Superb Rucksack
The Unisex Freeflow 30L Rucksack has been a great purchase so far. I bought to use for longer distance day hiking trips and it does the job perfectly. A large main storage compartment which provides ample space for spare clothes and food for a day hike, and also a separate sleeve for hydration bladders. Numerous external pockets which are perfect for energy gels, additional water bottles and carriers for hiking poles. I have yet to trial for a multi-day hike but I have no doubt that if packing light it would provide more than enough room for supplies. Being a heavy sweater too, the Freeflow technology helps keep my cool and sweat from building up against my back - absolute lifesaver!
