We are pleased to announce we have chosen our fourth Everyday Adventurer – Jimmy McSparron
Here is Jimmy’s submission:
Three things that really sum me up:
-It is impossible to fulfill oneself in comfort, one gets lost in it. One is overfed and becomes disabled – lack of difficulty means boredom. The harder the effort is, the better the reward.
-Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
-What I call happiness may coincide with what others call the moment of imminent danger.
I am intent on travelling the world, finding new cultures, learning new languages and gaining new experiences. I wish to do it in the most outrageous way possible and experience everything along the way, whether it be eating something strange, getting tattooed with sticks or running around in the forest. I’ll be there.
