Taming the Bear Trailer

The trailer for Berghaus athlete Julia Pickering’s new film is now available and it gives an exciting glimpse of what viewers can expect from the full movie released soon.

Dealing with an “aviation incident”, frost bite, crevasse falls, a six day storm and a close encounter with a moose was all part of the adventure as Julia and her team fulfilled a lifelong ambition to split-board down Mount Bear in Alaska.

At 14,831ft (4,520m) Mount Bear one of the top 20 highest mountains in the US and with the temperature at the summit -45 degrees Celsius the team had to use all their skills and knowledge to manage the once in a life time ride down.
