1. At the Snowbombing Festival in Mayrhofen you can enjoy the slopes all day then party at night with some of the World's best DJ's and Band's as they play blistering sets in a towering igloo, on top of a mountain or in a forest clearing.
2.The Jökulsárlón Lagoon in Iceland is home to a remarkable network of Ice Caves waiting to be explored. You can also scale volcanoes and track down the Northern Lights.
3. Helvellyn in the Lake District is the horseshoe-shaped edge surrounded by the red tarn cove crests and is the ideal winter activity for budding mountaineers.
4. Queen Maud Land in Antarctica was totally untouched until the 1930's and is known as the ultimate challenge for climbers.
5. The Harbin Ice Festival is held every year in China from January to February. It is the largest Ice Festival in the World, you can explore sky-high snow sculptures, navigate your own dog sled.
