Congratulations to Berghaus athlete Philippe Gatta who is the winner of the 2013 Spine Challenger! He finished the course in 32 hours and 18 minutes! Beating the previous record by over 4 hours!
The Spine Challenger is a 108 mile, non-stop, 60 hour, winter mountain marathon between Edale and Hawes. This challenging and extremely technical section of the Pennine Way is a physically and psychologically demanding route that demands concentration and respect.
