Men's Extrem Fast Hike Trousers - Blue

I had ordered the Extrem Fast Hike trousers earlier this year. Overall they do a great job as light trousers for high output activity, they look very good too and feel good.  However I was quite disappointed that the lighter fabric began pilling very quickly after the first use and was getting worse rapidly. If this isn’t an isolated case it would be good to change this fabric for further iterations.

At last a proper pair of lightweight hiking trousers. For fast trekking these are by far the best trousers I have worn. at 150 grams (34" waist) they are super light and roll up to a very small size, leaving room in my pack for essentials. The vents at the side of the legs actually work and the back pocket is zipped so my wallet stays safe. I don't use the thigh pocket, but strangely, I'd rather have it than not. They are wind resistant and because they are new are pretty good in a light rain shower, but when it comes to waterproof, I wouldn't want to hang around in a big rain storm, however that's not what these are designed for. I am size 34"waist and 32 leg, I ordered this size and they fit very well so the website sizing plan works. There are two cons, but it's a personal preference thing, rather than an actual design fault. 1) I'd prefer some big zips at the bottom of the legs so I don't have to remove my boots before putting them on/off. 2) I like a wide belt when hiking, the fitted, semi enclosed belt configuration is accompanied by a 25mm belt when there is space for a 40mm one. I will be removing the belt and using my own. To finish, I am glad I bought these trousers, they fit well and do exactly what they are supposed to do. Style really shouldn't be a consideration when trekking, but, these pull that little trick of as well. Happy bunny. Just the job.

Really like the two tone colours. Great fitting, warm, & windproof. Bought these for my work, but far to good, for work wear. The belt doesn't hold.

the colour is quite nice, comfortable to wear,. the material is a bit light for winter walking in ireland leg length is a little long
