nice jacket, prefect fit
It is a nice jacket and exactly what I was looking for. I used since about 20 (1) a Mammut goretex jacket and was looking for a replacement. And, as the modern jackets are shorter in length, not covering the bottom, these new jackets were unattractive for me hiking in really bad weather. So this jacket with '90 design was perfectly what I wanted. I am 1.81 m tall, 82 kg, and of normal build, with a slightly larger chest and long arm and leg lengths. I chose size M and it fits perfectly, it is a spacious model, and it fits well to wear a fleece under the jacket for the winter.

Mera peak
Great jacket but odd sizing. I am a small in almost all other items but the small in this jacket has very baggy arms. I went for the extra small to not look like I’m drowning but after a few uses have realised I can’t do up the bottom popper as the jacket is too tight in that specific area. It would be even worse for women. If you want to wear layers underneath go for your usual size but be prepared for a baggy look. In the extra small I can comfortably wear a tshirt and micro fleece. Underneath.Â
