Very poor waterproof performance
If you value your safety stick to shopping in this jacket (preferably online). This jacket is not up to the task of foul weather protection and not worth the money. Purchasing Berghaus was for my generation at least following in the footsteps of iconic mountaineers such as Chris Bonnington or the many BBC reporters who would adorn Berghaus jackets whilst outside reporting. I have not bought a Berhaus jacket for a long time, this jacket is not a patch on the jackets of twenty or thirty years ago. This jacket is light and comfortable and looks classy, great for a shopping trip to Waitrose and potentially being caught in a light shower getting from the car to the store. Its performance in heavy rain on Dartmoor last weekend was something less than useless, it is sold as a jacket for hill walking when in fact imo is a recipe for hypothermia.

I love just about everything about it!. Could do with cuff loops to attach the interactive liners to the sleeves so they stay together when pulling both off at the same time but it's pretty minor

Great quality coat that does exactly what it was designed to do. Keep you warm and dry.. Inside pocket would be nice but that`s it.
