A lightweight and extremely packable waterproof jacket, ideal for year-round trail activities. GORE-TEX PACLITE® fabric technology offers lightweight, fully waterproof protection and allows the jacket to pack down really small so you can easily store it in your rucksack ready for when the weather turns. A fixed, fully adjustable hood offers additional weather protection. Product weight is 330g (Size UK L).

We’ve been repairing kit since 1966 and our expert crew is on hand to stitch any rip or replace any zip, if they possibly can, as many times as you need them to.
The repair is free. We’ll ask you to pick up the cost of sending your gear into us, but the fix-up is on the house. Great news for your wallet and the outdoors.

Perfect
The lightest and best quality I have found and replaced my Berghaus pack lite jacket I bought many years ago. Smart and easy to fit into my back pack folded up.

Couldbe easily improved
My previous Paclite lasted nearly 10 years & never let me down & I only replaced it as it wasn't as waterproof as it couldbe, even after retreating, understandable after the regular use it had. My new jacket is just as dependable but there are three features which were in my previous jacket but are now missing & are important enough to me to look at alternative manufacturers in the future. These are firstly, the hood cannot be packed away,Secondly there are no internal "poacher pockets" which were invaluable in storing gloves, maps etc & thirdly no storage sack.

It's good, but...
... While the overall construction is better than the original, the hood is a real pain in the posterior. I used to keep the hood in my old one stowed 95% of the time, but now I can't. Nowhere to hide. So windy walks are all about noise, flapping and tugs than peaceful passing. I actually prefer no hood at all to a hood that cannot be stowed away. I'm looking for an alternative.

ItÂ’s light and packable.. It should have shorter sleeves and wider bottom for middle aged men. ItÂ’s current design is for a tall and slim build.

A versatile jacket that performs exceptionally well in a multitude of conditions. ItÂ’s my second jacket of this type. There was only one choice when it came to a replacement.
