To shelter your eyes from the rain the protective hood has a stiffened peak and for a snug fit theres a fully adjustable drawcord hem. For extra weather protection, sleeves have hook and loop adjustable cuffs to keep out draughts, while covered underarm zips let the breeze in when you need to cool off but keep the water out. Nice jacket
Nice jacket, flattering cut although I returned it because a) it was a little tight so wouldn't have got a warm jumper underneath and b) I wanted one with a mesh lining to make it more comfortable to wear in summer with short sleeves etc

- under arm air vent
- under arm air vents - hood elasticated toggles are managed under the jacket so you don't have them flying around your face - peak on hood to keep water out - can easily fit fleece underneath as well as base layers - lower at the back to cover bum would be nice to roll away hood but really not a big dealordered two sizes as was not sure - both arrived quickly and had easy returns policy which made it a lot easier. I have had a negative experience with other vendors like go outdoors, where i ordered multiple walking boots to try at home, then had to pay postage for the returns which were then lost and I have to now get back via insurance. Berghaus direct was a lot easier!
