Firstly so glad I purchased from here and selected clear pay as its made paying in 4 installments more budget friendly. I bought this jacket based on hundreds of great reviews and it was affordable Gortex. I like the colour. It's kept me 100% dry in the pouring Lake District rain. I'm 5ft 7 and about 12.5 stone. I got medium which fits but I can only wear a base layer underneath as its fairly snug. The arms a quite long, over my hands so the velcro cuffs are a must. The hood is huge but it can fit a helmet underneath and has a peak. I've pulled the drawstring tight at the back in order for it to fit my head. Around the neck/ chin is also very high and roomy, but once pulled up and fastened it does keep you snug and dry although only my eyes and nose are visible. For me not an ideal overall fit, but for a Gortex jacket it's affordable. Ideally I think going to a store and trying jackets on is the best thing to do but I was restricted by my budget.

Nice fitted design, been a few years since I had a new gore tex jacket and materials seem to have advanced somewhat. Particularly like the really high neck to protect against weather. Small Internal pocket needed
