Comfortable and quick dry. Zip stitching on one leg is quite abrasive against the skin

Superb light weight shorts, very very comfortable. Although I’ve only worn these in summer conditions I’m sure if I wear them in slightly windier weather they would offer protection.. High price, if not in the sale I’m not sure I would have paid top price.

1. I saw these shorts last summer so I was happy to see them back in the range this year. 2. Loose fit! So happy to find a decent short that wasn't skinny fitting, I cried with joy. 3. General look & style. Love the modern aesthetic & clean, utilitarian, details. 4.The stretch fabric used is very comfortable, and the shorts feel light weight and are really nice to wear. 5.Really comfortable overall (Without a backpack. See 1. Bad Points) 6. Not usually much of a selling feature for me in a short, but I got plenty of opportunity to test the water repellency recently, and was happy to have that feature.. 1. Waistband stretches with body heat and gets too loose. Backpack pushes the shorts down as a result. 2. Needs more volume through the hips. I bought a size up (36") as the fit was too clingy for a baggy short. I would appreciate a little more ease in the thigh / seat area, even with the stretch material. 3. Adjustable waistband doesn't really function for the above reason as the elastic doesn't provide enough hold, though I'd be curious if it would function better in a size 34". Based on the 36" I would change the waistband to a flat standard with belt loops, or the same adjustable waistband, but using woven fabric for better stability when body heat goes up. 4. Not a fan of the huge printed logo, glad it's in a tonal colour. I wouldn't have bought the short if it were in a contrast colour. 5. I'd swap the complicated, adjustable waistband for a phone pocket on the left side.
