I’m really fussy when it comes to technical jackets and this jacket is the best Berghaus has produced in years. Long length, insulated, light, good sized hood, looks great, really lovely soft feel to the fabric, 4 external hand pockets ideally placed and insulated inside, storm cuffs, storm flap on zip. Sizing is spot on so you can still add a mid-layer without it being too bulky. Waterproof and breathability appears good. The hood doesn’t fold away but it it sits well and is not cumbersome. Only thing missing is an internal pocket or two. If anything it’s too nice to use out walking the dog.
