Perfect inbetween seasons coat
5Good windbreaker and completely waterproof, nice big inner pocket, if it had a couple of large hand warming pockets it would be absolutely perfect

Best multi-purpose jacket
5Bought this as a gift. Almost identical to one I bought for myself over 20 years ago and am still wearing! The most waterproof item of clothing ever bought. Light and comfortable can fit layers under. Great hood which rolls away Huge map pocket My favourite jacket for rainy weather and hiking. Highly recommend - it's worth the investment

Spot on
5This jacket ticks all the boxes for me. Over many years active wear, this is my 3rd such jacket, and it is a classic I combine it with the polartec fleece to deal with all weathers.

Full circle
5I bought the predecessor to this jacket around 23 years ago and wore it daily. It has eventually worn out and over the last few years I have tried various different brands and styles in order to replace it. Non were anywhere near as good. I have ended up going full circle and buying the cornice again. The hood is the best. It keeps the rain out and stays in place due to the adjustments you can make. It's waterproof and breathable and I like the fit of it. Loose but not too baggy and can comfortably fit one of my fleeces under it.Â

The fit has changed
3My husband has been wearing the predecessor to this jacket for a number of years. It’s beginning to look worn at the cuffs. I decided it was time to replace it, hence this purchase. While the style has changed little over the years I’m afraid the shape has narrowed and the medium leaves no room for extra warmth in winter. Consequently I sent for a large. It was huge on him! Both jackets have been returned and we’re searching for an alternative that we hope will fit better. Meanwhile he will have to carry on wearing the old shabby medium Berghaus jacket. It’s a pity you’ve changed the cut so drastically.Â

Exactly as I had expected
5The jacket was exactly as I had expected, Â it fits well and I have used it every day since it arrived in record time. I have since purchased an inner coat which zips in perfectly.

Great quality made coat
5This is the first Berghaus jacket that I have purchased, the quality is A1. With the Goretex protection it ensures it is waterproof, safe in the knowledge that you can walk out in the rain without fear of getting wet through the seams
