Not Waterproof
1Why, oh why, do you advertise "waterproof" when your boots are certainly NOT. I've worn these boots for a few outings, but they do not keep water out. I have been loyal to Berghaus for years as I thought they were a good make but it seems I will have to find a new manufacturer, a difficult job when you see videos of how sloppily some boots are made. What happened to craftsmanship?

Excellent product and customer service
5Haven’t had a long walk yet but, so far, the fit is superb and the quality is outstanding. Surprising how comfortable right out of the box. Purchased for November trip to UK in November. Looking forward to a thorough test then and fully expect I won’t be disappointed.Â

Avoid. Very poor standard.
1My first pair lasted a few walks on short grass and pavement before my left foot was wet. Returned them to Berghaus and they were replaced as they were faulty. Fast forward 12 months and the metal lace hooks have now come away and the stitching on the front of the left boot has ruptured letting water in. They have been used for dog walks in the park, not as though I have been walking hills and mountains in them. Berghaus told me to return them for a repair but I have zero faith in them and have sadly just binned them. Overpriced and very poor quality, avoid.

5Bought for Christmas present so this review is only about the visual and service. Boots came super quick and excellent customer advice throughout process. This is first time buying from Berghaus directly, first time was from a retail store and have to say buying direct is by far the way to go. Amazing customer service team and definitely amazing quality product
