The comfort and style. The zip on the pocket catches on flap.

The jacket is certainly lightweight and smart in appearance.. Unfortunately the so called breathable ‘hydroshell ‘ material doesn’t live up to it’s description, and does not breath; hence wet clothing after a short period of time wearing the wet weather coat!

Incredible how the jacket keeps the wind out, a great coat for the spring..

This is my second Berghaus jacket. I wore the first one for 20 years. It was my favorite item of outdoor wear. The big plus of these jackets is that they keep you warm and dry without making you feel the usual weight of heavy outdoor clothing.. It doesn't have the velcro-fastened flap over the front zipper. That flap, which my first Berghaus jacket had, allows you to "close" the jacket and warm up without having to struggle with a zipper. Which leads me to my second bad point: the zipper on this new Berghaus jacket is stiff and hard to work with.
