5Really comfortable, good quality, warm and stylish. Adjusting the inner garment, pulling down at the rear every time to ensure a comfortable fit, would benefit from a better attachment at the bottom, maybe a zip

5Comfortable and very effective in heavy rain. Far better than I had anticipated.. The sizing is a little on the mean side. I have a chest measurement of 43" and the coat I bought claimed to fit up to 44". I had expected that there would be plenty of room. There is when wearing only the outer shell. however with the fleece fitted, things are quite snug and anything other than a shirt and possibly a very thin sweater would not be acceptable when wearing this coat. I would have thought that the sizing would make better provision for the fleece.

4You can feel the quality as soon as you put this jacket on. The excellent water repellent virtues are self evident and the side pockets are now cut vertically instead of horizontally thereby preventing water ingress when unsealed. The collar and inbuilt hood attachment are much more substantial than the last model capping off what is a truly fit for purpose item of clothing.. This model is cut around 4 inches shorter than the previous (6yrs old) model which means to avoid wet thighs, the same manufacturer's Gortex waterproof trousers are needed for another £100. Oh dear!This is a shame because the jacket itself is an excellent piece of quality kit.

Warm and comfortable...
3Warm and comfortable.. Inner fleece rides up the back when putting it on with many clothes or curls round curling the bottom edges. Coat hook on inner fleece broke under the weight of the jacket.
