4It's a good and versatile shell. Albeit not by favorite - the Men's Ridgemaster Hydroloft 3in1 Waterproof Jacket *IS* my favorite - you can pair it with a vast number of different fleeces. I strongly recommend the Hydroloft® / Thermore® fleece which is warm and thin at the same time. Such a combination provides you with the option of wearing the Hillwalker with an Extreme Men's Ulvetanna Hybrid 2.0 Jacket.. A few more external pockets would be appreciated.

Gore Tex is the best...
5Gore Tex is the best material for coats. That combined with the waterproofing means that I feel protected from the wind and the rain. I love this jacket and wear it everyday.. The main zip is a little hard to seat, this can mean that I zip up without it being together. The pocket zips are a little hard to operate with thick gloves on. This is only a minor issue though
