I need a proper winter jacket for going off-grid camping, dog walking, and a holiday in a winter destination. This seemed to fit the bill, even though it was expensive. The peace of mind that I can return the jacket to be repaired if it has a problem is excellent news. I've been out in -3 with a wind chill -10, horrible rain, and snow. This jacket kept me warm, and the waterproofing was good for the most part. If I were out long-term in these conditions, I would put on an outer layer. Walking in lower temperatures is excellent for a typical day, and the double zip allows you to regulate your temperature. It's too warm to wear once the sun comes out. The size of the jacket is fine. I'm 5'11" and 90kg, and the large fits me well, with a little room to add another layer, not that you need it.  I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a lightweight, waterproof winter jacket.
