Vc22 boots
4 out of 5 stars
Great looking boots, waterproof too a certain extent as I have tried this unless ya foot is fully under the water, good grip, just one big issue, when new they are really hard to get your foot inside because of the inside sock is so tight other than that there a great book but there not good if you can’t get them on your feet

These are the best hiking boots I have ever owned. Please do not be put off by the ridiculous reviews saying they are difficult to put on. They are not. Turn boot to one side (90 degrees), put toes and first half of foot in the sock/ boot 'slot'. Twist foot so it's pointing forwards, same as boot. Slide heel in, guiding in with fingers. Tidy sock up if needed. Lace up.  5 second job. I've done it on one leg out of my car boot at a train station. The sock is excellent. Keeps water and debris out. On to the boots, these are fast, comfortable and light. Excellent grip on wet rock, moorland, trail, steep paths, and downhill. Bone dry after walking through a stream. Easy to clean (follow Gore-Tex instructions on their website). Great ankle protection and front bumper. I think they will last longer than many synthetic boots due to choice of materials. And they look great, like a tactical boot, but with subtle decals. Love 'em. Highly recommended.

The Best Boots.
5 out of 5 stars
These were not a new purchase. This was my second pair as I love them do much, do comfy abd the grippy socks type inner really names the comfortable whether hiking or travelling or just wearing around. As I said this was my second pair but as they were on sale I actually bought a 3rd pair. Just in case any thing happened to one of the others. I wear them hiking, I grew worn them to Venice and Copenhagen this year. I wear them all the time. Really comfy, really protective, waterproof and they look good. What more do you want.

Great boot
5 out of 5 stars
Bought this hiking boot for a couple of purposes: 1) general hiking along various terrains.  2) waterproof shoes when out and about  3) to wear at Glastonbury.  These hiking boots are extremely light. The gortex outer is water proof and breathable.  The inner sock lining is tight but it gives you a really supportive, comfortable and snug fit; once the laces are undone and you’ve put them on a couple of times it’s becomes easier - there are 2 hooks to help put on so you don’t need a shoe horn.    They are expensive but I got on sale so totally worth it. Also the blacked out variation looks wicked.  All in all a premium hiking shoe that is half boot and and half trail trainers.
