I’ve had these a while now and covered a lot of miles in rain mud and sunshine. They are completely waterproof and extremely comfortable. They are also easy to keep clean!  They are also warm. Only downside is the inner sock makes them a little tight to get on, however the inner sock keeps all the dirt out. Would defo buy another pair when if and when these need replacing. 

I have always been impressed by the overall quality of Berghaus clothing and footwear and rate them highly for any kind of long distance walking or general outdoor activity. These boots have a knit collar/elasticated inner gaiter, but this was so tight, that I couldn’t get my foot  (size 8)inside these boots.  Even my wife who has size 5 feet couldn’t even get her feet past the knit collar. It would be great if we could get these boots without the knit collar.

Yesterday I walked up Whernside, Yorkshire and they were amazing. They took no time to break in, they were so comfortable, they look great and they were COMPLETELY waterproof, not a drop of water inside. They were even great on the rocks that were underneath water because most boots usually slip when on wet rocks but these didn’t and the ankle protection was amazing. No complaints do recommend.
