I don't have any problems with the straps but the zips for the side compartments are a pain. I keep spare stuff in these and use vaseline on the zips.

What ever happened to Quality control. I bought my Arrow thirty direct from Berghuas. I have noticed that the shoulder straps dont take any weight on them. The strap just slides open. My Come on Berghuas, You must  have product tested the rucksack before putting on the market. I am really  disappointed .  Fill ripped off.

There are flaws with this rucsack right away which makes it unfit for purpose without having to adapt it yourself. The shoulder straps will not stay in position when you carry any weight.  This is the same with the top chest strap.    The waste strap has the braking loop in place but the shoulder and chest straps loosen off under even gentle pressure.   I will make and stitch my own brake loops rather than take the rucsack back. The clips are all very awkward to fasten and take several attempts because they have to be lined up perfectly before they will engage.   Not easy when you are walking with a full sack and poles etc. The zips on the side pocket are very awkward and could have been designed better.    Everything else looks well made and from good materials but glaring design flaws which berghaus should never have allowed if they want to keep their reputation.

First let me note I’m a USA customer and Berghaus did an outstanding job getting me my stuff when I needed it.  This rucksack was a special purchase for me as a daypack for Kilimanjaro trek. It performed flawlessly. The Osprey 3L bladder was a perfect fit for the hydration sleeve. This little 30 liter pack checks all the boxes - highly recommend.
