I purchased these shorts in blue as the grey wasn’t available and they were reduced in price. When they arrived I was sceptical that they would fit and all I can say is they are my favourite shorts and will be adding another pair as back up. They stretch with you and have foot pockets for your bits and pieces. They come to just above my knee and I am 30.5 inside leg with an average thigh length for my height. The fit on the waist is comfortable with press stud and zip. They fit higher on the waist and I would say they are sit on the actual waistline. The fit around the knee is good and not tight as my thighs are well curvy. There are v groove detail on the hemline to give additional leg width. Very pleased with these shorts and I believe the best they sell for women who need that little extra room. 

Lovely fabric. Nice Length. Very comfortable on. True to size.. The zip cover is weird. The shorts fit fine, even a little room but the zip cover keeps rolling back and exposing the zip. Doesn't look very nice.
