Excellent waterproof.  Certainly keeps the rain out & I particularly like the internal chest zip pocket.  A quality garment as you would expect from Berghaus , can’t beat Goretex. 

Jacket was exactly as I expected it to be great in heavy rain while out hill walking. I also bought walking boots recently and the like the jacket are high quality. 

Fantastic jacket, with all the usual refinements expected of this great brand. Bought to replace an old jacket, now still used in the garden, the new coat is an ideal fit and comfortable and stylish for going out in. Very pleased. 

Bought this before a trip to Iceland to replace my cheaper and worn out waterproof I usually use for hiking, I spent more than I usually would hoping the brand would correlate to better quality waterproofing knowing I’d be needing it. Great quality feel and comfortable, however I was surprised to find after about 30 mins walking in moderate rain water soaked through all my layers. Really glad I was just on a day hike not a multi day one! Maybe ok for a city jacket, but wouldn’t recommend as proper outdoor wear at all, very disappointing given the price! 

Bought this jacket for hillwalking in Scotland, was disappointed to find that I was soaked through after one heavy shower of rain. Not waterproof at all! I expected more from Berghaus
