I've now had an opportunity to wear these trousers in the rain - they aren't really water-resistant. They do dry more quickly than ordinary trousers though. I was walking in relatively light rain and still had damp knees. I still like them as they are very comfortable for walking in but, no, not really water-resistant.

These trousers are an excellent fit - the measurements given are accurate. Just to clarify some of the previous comments: one of the front pockets does in fact have a small zipped compartment which would be useful for keys/money. The trousers arrived in a very small paper bag - I hadn't realised they were so light and flexible! Haven't tried them in rainfall yet but I'm sure I'll have an opportunity soon!

Being short (5ft 3), I have struggled to find trousers that fit in length. These fit like a glove and are just the right length. Lightweight, Lots of give in knees, great in all kinds of weather too. Took with me to Shetland and I wore them lots. Look smart too, so you don’t look bedraggled after a hike when grabbing a swift one afterwards! Only minor grumble, the pockets could do with zips to prevent things dropping out pockets and could we have so more colour options please -cheers! 

I am short and most pants simply aren't made for shorter people. These are and they are amazing. The best fitting pants I think I have ever worn I live in Aus so purchased online through your international site. Delivery was insanely quick, packaging was safe and protected the items, the quality is exceptional. Love everything.
