Very cosy and the zip is strong and reliable. Not too hot if sun comes out and one unzips. I like the loops on the sleeves (though not sure what they're for other than embellishment) and I like the size of the pockets. I bought it to replace another Same make, which after about 15 years had to go when the zip broke. I loved it so I nearly replaced the zip but treated myself instead.. A bit tight on the hips. I would have preferred a drawstring round the bottom. Also felt a bit "velvety" synthetic texture at first but it has improved with wear.
