Both me and my partner hiked the Te Araroa in New Zealand with these, getting through two pairs each, about 1,400km on each pair. I could have got an extra few hundred kilometres out of them, they're super durable, offer good protection against bumps, stubbed toes, and scree. I had about three blisters on the whole trip, but it was due to bad socks and constantly wet feet! Super grippy sole that lasts well. The leather aged as expected but held up well despite the abuse, mud, scree, sharp rocks, you name it. We would reproof it every week or so but they stayed very waterproof,. surviving regular immersion in mud and streams. If submerged they would generally dry out overnight when it was warm Takes a little getting used to if you've worn softer boots, but they're well worth getting used to. True to size too.

Solid boot. Very comfortable, no blisters from first use. Grippy, hard wearing sole.

The boots are just what I've been looking for, well made and comfy. For me they fit like a glove with style.

Big fan of Berghaus boots, on my 3rd pair. Opted for the black ones this time. Good for walking in, lightweight and appear to be well made. Not sure if 100% waterproof but time will tell. A good broad fit, as I have hobbit feet.
