5I purchased my first pair in 1989 and have never looked back. i used them in the military for 24 years and they were with me all around the world. i glue them in on a pair of leather walking boots (scarpa) and they are the best.

1The gaiters do their intended job well I must say.. As a soldier, I followed the proper steps according to the size guidelines but alas my were a fit too small , not because of the size but rather the rugged shape of my combat boots & it didn't help that I was on course & they kept sliding off because they where a tight fit. So depending on the client needs an advisory should be put in place about the kind of footwear they are intended for. Many thanks but overall a good piece of kit to have unfortunately for me I can't return mi e since I have used them .

First time out in my...
5First time out in my new gaiters I stepped in a mid-shin deep muddy hole. This was right at the beginning of my walk, so without Yeti gaiters I would have had a very soggy foot and leg for the next several miles. With the Yeti gaiter I remained completely dry. They are a great piece of kit. Highly recommended.. Difficult to fit to boot (Scarpa SL Activ) but well worth the effort. I did not boil, use Fairy Liquid, etc. and did manage to fit to boots. I think now I have learnt the technique it will be significantly easier next time!

4. Used them over a number of years , and used all over the world in harsh climate, but the last set split after 6 months the base is not as good as before.

4Great once on, we'll made, nice closure. Often a good idea to use tiny dots of superglue to ensure stays put.. Really hard to get on the boots

4Gives full protection of my boots and reduces wear and tear over a longer period of time.. Not the easiest product to fit.
