Once fitted properly on the boots they are virtually bombproof however see improvement panel!. Fitting them to the boots is a monumental task which requires almost super human strength. I ended up taking them to the cobblers to be heated and fitted. Also the toggle on the top to tighten the gaiters is too fiddley. I have a pair used for many winters with no problem. Just one pull and is secured. Why have you changed it? It was ok as it was!

I purchased my first pair in 1989 and have never looked back. i used them in the military for 24 years and they were with me all around the world. i glue them in on a pair of leather walking boots (scarpa) and they are the best.

The gaiters do their intended job well I must say.. As a soldier, I followed the proper steps according to the size guidelines but alas my were a fit too small , not because of the size but rather the rugged shape of my combat boots & it didn't help that I was on course & they kept sliding off because they where a tight fit. So depending on the client needs an advisory should be put in place about the kind of footwear they are intended for. Many thanks but overall a good piece of kit to have unfortunately for me I can't return mi e since I have used them .

Toughest gaiters on the market. Just very hard to get on and off.
